Labor Preparation Massage begins at week 37. of pregnancy.
This session is a fusion of advanced perinatal massage and Maya Abdominal Therapy focused on balancing pelvic alignment and uterine ligaments to help your baby into optimal position for a quicker, gentler birth. At 40 weeks we add a short Peristeam and labor-enhancing acupressure points that you can continue to use at home until delivery.

The birth of the baby also means the birth of a woman as a new mother. Let us help you integrate your birth experience while creating stability in your muscles, joints and ligaments so that you can take on the physical challenges of motherhood. Daily tasks such as breast feeding, carrying baby and possibly lifting other children become less of a burden with massage therapy. Initial session 1 hour,includes health intake and steam. Two follow-up sessions 45 minutes each. Water and herbs heat under a disposable seat with a heat adjustable control.
